I agree with the first and second suggestions. However, I do not agree with your third. I honestly don't mind some of the piped in music.

1) Get the pregame "Tiger Stadium" video to sync with the sound. When Hodson, Faulk, etc are speaking, their mouths are off by about 3 seconds from the sound. Like those old Kung Fu movies.

I sit pretty high up and I thought this was just some factor of distance and my brain's ability to see the screen and process it, and the timing of sound waves from the speakers, etc.

No way I thought we are that incompetent that it would actually be that far off.

I think there's a time and place for it, if the right song is picked. I wouldn't say eliminate it totally (although some fans would like to, and I respect that).

I would just cut it back and pick better songs.

All the coordination/timing/song selection. It's not as easy as hitting shuffle on your ipod.

I'm sure it's not easy. However, it's at most 8 games a year and someone is getting paid to do this.

I was at the volleyball game yesterday and the music/band atmosphere and timing was better.

Stop talking over the beginning to four corners/Pregame&Touchdown. As a kid, my favorite part of the day was when that first sound of the cymbals.

You took the words out of my mouth. Start announcing the “Golden Band from Tigerland” long before they start everything in pregame. Maybe when they are marching out. The whole announcement interrupts the flow.

Piped in music is a disconnect between the fans and the band.
The band is one of those things that seperates college football and the NFL.

I can't stand the piped in music. It changes the atmosphere greatly.

I think there is a place for some of the piped in music, but there needs to be more recognition of the atmosphere.

Bitch I'm from LA is awesome during big games or when we have all the momentum but you can't play it every time or it loses its effect.

I hate the 3rd down song. I think it's time to change it up, but especially when games are out of hand. When we are beating chatanooga by 40 in the 4th quarter and there are 20k people left in the stadium, stop playing that shite. I'm there to just watch some of the younger players, I'm not going to yell and scream for us to get a stop.

Exactly. There is no football/situational awareness from the admins running this. “Right Above It” instrumental is a great pump up song but it is comical to be playing it after Syracuse gets a safety on you when 30,000 fans are in the stadium.

Those choreographed “GEAUX” - “TIGERS” and “L..S..U....TIGERS!” cheers need to get the as well

Never been to a game since they started piping in music. So, my question is when is this music played? Before a play, during a play, or what?

Serious question

Just play the first 15 seconds of Stevie B's 'I wanna be the One' and I'll be happy.
Tiger Stadium and Alex Box have played this intro several times in last few Years and I love it.
My friends have texted me during the football game "did you hear that shite?" because they know I'm a big fan. Gay I know.
I wanna be the one.

If you need this explained, then you are part of the problem. You don’t get it. Sorry JB.

2) Start playing "Welcome to the Jungle" a little sooner before the team comes out. This is how you build tension with a pre-entrance song. We seem to start our song right as the team begins to run out of the tunnel. It's too late to have an effect.

That video gave me goosebumps. We need something cool like this

Probably wouldn’t do anything but there’s gotta be a way to get it across to the admins about all the flaws in the experience. Anyone know an email where we could link this thread as an example?
