In the future we will look back at this current agenda of pushing and promoting transgenderism as "normal" and it will be a truly sad and disgusting history lesson.
The fact that mentally ill people are being encouraged right now to mutilate their bodies and further damage their mental well being is sickening.

Honestly you would hope a 10yo can decide what gender they are, its nature. I would hope they have taught them male vs female by then...
But just like tatoos, why would they allow this to happen on a minor for a non medical issue?

then Canada can deal with that shite. However, in the US, parents are responsible for their child's care until they reach 18 or are emnancipated. Most types of hormones should should be avoided on children prior to puberty.

It's weird. They diagnose it as a mental issue, but they don't treat it as such. They just say "it is what it is and it means this person wants to mutilate their body so we should allow them to do so". There's no other mental illness-related self-mutilation condition that we allow to go untreated.
Unfortunately, this is where progressives, and the science they claim to love, part ways because they've turned this issue into a 100% emotional and chic topic. The fact that doctors are completely ignoring the 40% suicide rate and giving into these people's misguided whims borders on criminal.

Yeah, we're about to start seeing the actual results that these Josef Mengele of doctors have done to these kids that were put on hormone blockers in their teens. This shite wasn't going on 10 years ago (at least in the numbers we see today), and now these kids are about to enter the real world and go to college. They'll be on their own and soon we'll be able to see this first hand what they've done.
Jazz Jennings the doctors are saying may not be up for a sex change operation because of the hormones that have sterilized the growth process, and if Jazz tries to kill herself/succeeds in doing so, then the parents and Frankenstein of a doctor should be publically flogged. Seriously, how fricked up of a parent do you have to be to allow your kid to be a girl at 5 and the first thing you do is call Barbara Walters?
