How important are your political beliefs in who you interact with?

In my case, not important at all. I work and socialize with people across the political spectrum and it sometimes leads to debate but that's about it. Even as I live in a very left leaning state (and don't share the prevailing politics here), it hardly makes a difference in my everyday life.

no difference at all...I don't really discuss politics or religion to any extent, and consequently, don't hang around much with people that insist on this kind of discussion.

i cant stand being around idiot liberals who think whatever the MSM tells them to

life is too short to waste time being around ignorant people who dont even want to try to find out the real facts about anything and just trust the internet to tell them what to think

It's of almost zero importance. I do have to draw the line somewhere though.

Not at all... if you're a good person and pleasant to be around, that's all I care about

None. I don't keep myself from interacting with people based on their political beliefs unless they believe in their own political beliefs so strongly that they are hateful towards me or other people as a result. I'd just avoid them if it got to that point. Otherwise, it should all go well.

Not even a little bit, as long as they're not lunatics that claim to be Nazis or black panthers or something.

I don't care, but I don't want to be around anyone that wants to interject politics into everything.

With men: fairly important if the topic comes up
With women: not at all

Not important at all.

Scruffy has friends of all political stances.

Anyone who can't be friends with those of other political persuasions is missing out.

If someone can't separate their politics from normal social interactions, they are trending into the realm of zealotry. I will actively avoid people that make everything a source of political contention or can't have basic political discussions without getting upset or nasty.

I was taught It's never a good idea to discuss politics.

People who makes political comments in social situations are trashy, Imo.

Although, it's okay to make comments on an anonymous message board, haha.

I have friends of all political beliefs, but I have found in the last year or so I have distanced myself from some people because they can't escape the stuff that is going on, on both sides. If you can't have a conversation without somehow bringing politics in it then I don't really want to hangout with you.

I will admit though that I avoid the hardcore I'm with her SJW people, but it's because they are miserable people to be around not because of who they vote for.

I work and interact with all kinds of folks. Sometimes we debate about stuff, but if you aren't smart enough to debate with facts and respect I won't talk to you about stuff. On that note I rarely debate with liberals
