Ah, yes. We already know how libtards feel on this issue. Blacks aren't knowledgeable enough to get an id. Blacks are convicted felons

why is this surprising?

for as long as any of us have been alive, this is the liberal mindset

It is void of logic and reasoning. It is visceral. emotional outrage, it always has been. It is the defining core of what separates us from them. It's not ethnicity, it's not the color of the skin, its the logical vs the illogical

for them, the most effective way to communicate is to yell, is to scream, is to spout mindless emotional context at the top of their lungs.

Because that's what works on them, that is how they communicate with each other, with loud voluminous rhetoric. Again and again, they mistakenly assume that's what's going to be the most effective way to communicate

Because of their leftist mental deficiency, they can never understand why this is so off-putting, to the rest of the rational world

What about when laws are specifically written to make it harder for African Americans to obtain IDs? Not far enough for you?

Would need to see the law(s).

Pardon my skepticism, but I have trouble believing that there are laws on the books in 2017 which specifically target a certain ethnic group and has not been struck down by SCOTUS.

That's like saying that the grading scale in school is "specifically written to make school harder for minorities'.

Big reason I don't Facebook. I could really give 2 sh!ts about what other people think. It's hard enough, raising kids, grands and taking care of Older folks without worrying about whether anyone approves/disapproves of my "privilege".
My privilege is what pays taxes so these idiots can sit on lazy asses complaining about it.
Anyone that cares about that should really get a life.

And then? They exist, as shown again and again.

They are on their way to being struck down, but the legal process is slow.

When you take a position like this is makes it very easy for everyone to see how crazy your opinions are.

Voter ID laws?

According to Facebook, just living my life, keeping my head down, and making sure I'm providing for me and mine is a sign of privilege.

So you are keeping your head down but came here to complain?
Did you come here because you knew it would be an echo-chamber to affirm your beliefs?

This is the part of this board that concerns me the most.

I come here to get a different opinion.

But frankly this board, specifically the political board, is filled with mostly racist trash looking for other people to echo their sentiments about "the blacks" and "the left".

It's like the boogeymen with this group.

Your comment, along with others in this very thread...kind of refutes your statement that this place is an echo chamber.

I have a lot of liberal friends and I am not seeing too much of that on facebook.

maybe it is age range, being in my 40s and all.

I will tell you from being in my 20's, that the Facebook Justice Warriors have been relentless in the past couple of days.

The funny thing is none of them said a word when a militant BLM black man was murdering cops in Dallas last summer.

Everyone in the US has privilege over those in most other countries. The discussion about it recently has been another way to divide people and prop up another victim class.

Even if I acknowledged some sort of exception privilege, so what? What's the point?

Tell you what, you tell me what the end game is here, and I'll participate.

Because I got news for you. This utopia that these people are trying to reach is NEVER going to happen. NEVER. So I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care. Because humans are territorial and humans haven't gotten along with one another for thousands of years. It's never stopped and it won't stop now because a bunch of people are fighting.

It is a messageboard. It is a little different. I had an opinion this morning. I came to the messageboard to voice the opinion. I don't care if people agree with it or not.
