OP is a Royals fan I bet. Cat ran onto field last night and next pitch was a grand slam by Molina (Cards). Almost the exact time he started this thread was when that homer was.
Cats are awesome. They can take care of themselves. Dogs you have to plan your day around themes many have already stated.

Stupid things demand attention without needing anything. Then they cry nonstop if you don't devote every waking moment to their existence.

Outdoor cats are highly skilled killers. But yes, in the hands of a dumbass, they are quickly reduced to the most annoying creatures on the planet. On the other hand, I have had a barn cat for 15 years, he's never been inside and I have gotten countless minutes of entertainment watching him hunt. He doesn't have time to dick around with people because there is always more death to be dealt. I watched a nature show with the kids and the wild exotic cats showed me nothing I haven't seen a hundred times out my back window.
