Only play? 3x a week? What's your sweet spot?

range 5x a week, 3x putting/chipping/pitching, play once

Rarely, I'll putt before I play and sometimes hit the range and chipping green before a round but I practice once a month at most. Play just about every weekend.

practice chipping and putting. driving range almost never. play 3-4 times per week and never on weekends.

Sweet spot is play twice a week with a range visit in between.
Unfortunately I get addicted and play after work (this time of year) or go to the range 2-3 times a week and play twice on the weekend. For me, the more I play sometimes, the worse my ball striking gets. Whether it be fatigue or engraving a bad habit, I always find a way to ruin a good swing by playing too much.

Once a week, once a month hit a bucket of balls. 15 min or so on the putting green before playing. Maybe 30 min or so putting at the house a week.
Been playing for about 50 years, I ought to know how to swing a club by now.

I like to practice after my rounds if I have time. Usually the short game. So 3 times a week or so of just that. When I'm not playing, I got to the range and again, finish with short game. That may just be once a week.

Can't tell you the last time I bought a bucket of balls.
I may hit a dozen if they are free to warm up

I used to go to the range several times per week, but as I became a better ball striker and developed a decent swing, I began just hitting a few balls before my round. I find that I really don't get much out of range sessions, because I improve my game by being challenged on the course. The range is only good for me when something gets erratic.

I play more than I practice. But most of my playing is practice by myself on afternoons during week. I like to avoiding crowds and have time to work. I always play my first ball off tee into the hole, my second shot I play my scored ball first but then play a different type of shot for practice, usually I take more club shoryer swing and work on a lower tragectory. Again if pace isnt an issue, I putt or chip a few extra around the green. I find this most effective practice beach we every swing is working to get ball in scoring range.
If I am not on the course practicing, I am hitting a ton of wedges and practing getting up and down from all over. A good practice pitching green should be your best friend.
I hit very few off the range during practice. A few drivers, one good swing with each iron, then a good idea 3/4 sawed of swing with each iron. That is it and range work is the least frequent for me. Only consistent range work is to get loose for a round.
Sorry this one was long, I'm three beers in and half asleeep. Good night.

Range with putting and chipping 2-3 times per week. This time of year I probably play twice a week. In the winter I probably play every other week and practice once or twice a week.

Range 2x. Putting/Chipping Green 3x. Play 2x

I am LONG past the point of actively practicing... I play golf for fun, and I have fun regardless of if I shoot in the 80s or the 90s.
Sure I'll hit a small bucket and do some putting before a round to get loosened up, but I don't practice just for the sake of practicing.

I'll probably hit for an hour once a month before I play. It's amazing how much practicing before I play actually helps.

I always try to get my driver going before everybody shows up to play.

When I get the time, I spend it playing. I go crazy after about 10 minutes on the range and putting green. I'm a 7 handicap. My goal every time I play is to break 80. If I spent a little more time working on 20-80yard shots, I could probably save 2-3 shots a round.
