I travel for work and i need to join a gym. I stay at Marriotts predominantly and the hotel gyms are usually small.
My territory consists of the south central states with Illinois being the furthest north.

does anyone else travel for work and which gym do you use?
TIA

The 24 hour chain gyms will most likely have all locations posted online.

Planet fitness is cheap and pretty much nationwide. I am a member but hardly use it due to me having a community gym 2 mins from my house. PF has all the machines and classes if that's what you like.

If you have Blue Cross/Blue Shield you can take advantage of the Blue 365 program where for $50 upfront and $25 per month you have access to over 9500 locations

I have it and it's great

Woah, is this available for home gyms too? Like could I sign up for this and use anytime or snap in town instead of signing up directly with either one?

I use a regular gym (Oschner/Elmwood) at home for heavy liftin and swimming; and do dumbell workouts (and maybe cardio or actual running) at the Marriotts when I travel. My travel is only 25% now, so it's not a huge problem.
How much did you want to lift and how much do you travel?

You'd have to see what gyms in your area participate

Right now La Fitness, You Fit and Anytime Fitness are some that participate in the program.

The Anytime's I've visited (NE GA / East TN), have squat racks and a few smith machines.

If you 24 Hour Fitness in the areas you travel, I can't complain. I go to about 4 or 5 around Houston. And also hit up 1 when I'm in Dallas. They are all way bigger than any snap fitness type place I've been to. Most are big enough to have racquetball, pools, basketball courts, etc.. I've been a member for about 3 years and haven't ever had an issue with any place I stopped in at. I only pay like 29 a month too.

I travel for work and belong to Lifetime. If I am lucky, there is one where I go but usually I am SOL so I just pay a guest fee at one that looks like a lifter gym from a Google search. If I will be at a place for multiple days in a row I will also bring my gi and try to go roll at a Gracie BJJ school if there is one.
