That's right, Obama is the one who had a deal with with the Russians
to buy their helicopters for Afghan use.
Those will now be phased out and replaced with American machines.

The Mi-17 deal was stopped at least a year ago. We already started delivering 53 of the Black Hawks by the end of May. Another 100 or so on the way.
You really need to stop reading crap like the Washington Times.
ETA: delivery started on the 53, not delivered. Apparently refurbishment is needed first.
