But your point stands. Russia's never been on it.
I said Putin was a terrorist.

Remember when Obama laughed at Romney about the Russian's. So what has changed so that NOW it's a problem? I'll hang up and listen.

Do any of you disagree w/ this?
Putin's a lot more dangerous than a terrorist fwiw.

The sore loser lefties are just trying to make a straw to grasp at in order to save their asses since there are no straws to grasp at and they are now drowning in the river of shite that they created.

Yes. I have spoken to many other people who have shared my desire to one day visit Russia and and experience their post Cold War culture. Russia is not an enemy anymore than France or Germany is an enemy. They are a competitor on the geo-political stage.

You ask too many questions, comrade.
This is not good for you.
This is not good for you.

You sound like a person who doesn't know much about modern geopolitics. This isn't 1980.
Both dem and republican administrations have been actively trying to develop a working relationship with Russia for a long time. They are not our enemy. In fact, they are a strategic ally on multiple fronts.
The problem with Russia is that they are just like us -- they meddle and throw their weight around to get what they want. You are letting dem rhetoric color your judgment. Ask yourself how concerned democrats were about Russians prior to HRC getting hacked and losing the election - be honest.

I think the Putin defense you refer to may be to tweak Dems with the absurdity of the Muh Russians narrative. But anybody who actually understands Russia and Putin understands he is a bad actor and fundamentally hostile to US interests.
I also think a lot of the reaction you get from those of us who have been anti- Communists our entire life is a general rolling of the eyes that the Democrats of all people, have suddenly discovered that Russia is a threat, and are pretending they are keeping us safe from Russian influence. That is comedy. And so many people enjoy tweaking all the overnight Progressive anti- Russian superheroes with The ridiculousness of their sudden red- baiting.
I think some things also need to be addressed out-loud. Russian defectors have warned us; via Russia's idealogical subversion, psy warfare/ops, and demoralization; with idelogical control over the American political parties.
Plug in the term 'KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov's warning to America' into youtube.
It is astounding and frightening listening to --especially democrats-- at hearings; speak of how tricky and conniving Russia is. While they as a government; with democrats and the GOPe: promote full blown marxism.
The democrats are all muh Russians. Yet, POTUS Obama was more accommodating to Russia than any POTUS in my lifetime. The missile defense, Ukraine taken over, Russia shooting the plane down and denying it on Obama's watch, Obama's nuke drawbacks while Russia laughed.
I think that the Kremlin-- loved Obama, and despised HRC because she meddled in Putin's election. And... with WJC's politics--HRC would not have allowed Russia to bend us over with no lube-- as Obama did. The truth is; the Kremlin would adore Obama being POTUS for life as he shared and promoted their marxism and let them run roughshed over whoever they wanted. Putin is a former KGB agent; he is as slick as can be a POS.
Everyone is afraid to say it out loud; because it is too much to fathom. But... go look at the Communist Manifesto admitted into Congress as a warning in 1963. https://cns7prod.s3.amazonaws.com/attachments/communist_goals.pdf
The only remaining objectives we are currently seeing in our news now.
quote:
There was a time when liberalism was identified with anti-Communism. But the Vietnam War led liberals into the arms of the Left, which had been morally confused about Communism since its inception and had become essentially pacifist following the carnage of World War I. Dennis Prager
The goal of socialism is communism. Vladimir Lenin
For us in Russia, communism is a dead dog, while, for many people in the West, it is still a living lion. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
There is not Communism or Marxism, but representative democracy and social justice in a well-planned economy. Fidel Castro
Even now we feel that Stalin was devoted to Communism, he was a Marxist, this cannot and should not be denied. Nikita Khrushchev
“You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept Communism outright; but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won’t have to fight you; we’ll so weaken your economy until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.” ~ Nikita Khrushchev, Oct. 25, 1966

quote:The Putin dickriding on this forum goes back long before the investigation into Russian state interference in the 2016 election--at least five years or so. And it was a staple of the 2016 election long before the investigation was made public. And you know that. Stop with the goddamned lying.
I think the Putin defense you refer to may be to tweak Dems with the absurdity of the Muh Russians narrative.
