Is it possible? the way Russia is defended here lately ...
No American I've known in my ENTIRE life would defend Putin/Russia this way.
Guys - it's easy... always has been, and still is, unless you can convince me Putin has drastically changed recently.
Russia = Bad
We shouldn't trust them.
Has anyone here ever had a conversation with another American ... in REAL life ... where Russia was discussed in anything but a negative light?

Russia can be bad and still be an ally. We have common cause with them on international terrorism. We should leverage that for good relations.

No shite, but what is worse a bunch of Christian communists or a bunch of Muslims? There is nothing wrong with USING Russia to be our shield arm against the ME. They are better equipped from a geographical and cultural (NO SJWs) standpoint to deal with those savages.
