Michael McNamara? @SilverAndMac Follow More Michael McNamara Retweeted RJ He is ALWAYS the last man back on D AND offense. Then, when he gets his fat arse up the court, he thinks he is a point guard.
If this doesnt cement Boogie as the GOAT, I dont know what will.

He's gassed. And injured. And it's on Gentry to set up plays to get him down low, and if he isn't getting calls, then Al needs to be in the refs' ears, not Boogie. the biggest thing right now is to get him back on defense when he doesn't get the call.

lol I mean he is the last back most of the time but we are playing at a fast pace this game. and Boogie came up with about 4 bigs rebounds that fueled this 12-0 run against Minny
McNamara needs to chill

He is an idiot if he has this opinion. All of this is the fault of Gentry.

Well good cause we really dislike MM. The circle of life.

I mean...I kind of agree.
Boogie is super out of shape and is playing way too far from the rim.
He desperately needs a coach he respects to force his fatass to get in shape, and to bench him every time he shoots more than 5 feet from the rim.

Kumar posted an interesting article on BSS Friday saying they should look to the Adelman TWolves with Kevin Love and Pekovic for inspiration. They played with high pace but their bigs got the the FT line all the time which was good for many reasons including giving Cousins more opportunity to rest.

It doesn't help that it seems cousins inbounds the ball many times after a made basket. I'm no basketball scholor, but something as simple as having someone else throw the ball in would help.
Inbounding the ball, only to have the guard dribble with a fast pace up court, is resulting in him trailing and setting up at the top of the arc.

This is a fair point. But there's a cost for every change. Gentry seems content pushing 4 on 5. If you have someone else inbound the ball, you still can't count on Boogie to sprint up the court, so it's one less person to push pace with. It's a made shot though and therefore harder to push with anyways... I'd go with your idea.

It's a good read with a great larger point, but somewhat ignores the reality of the players' games/mindsets in the Wolves comp
Love was taking 6.6 3PA/G (and his OREB was considerably lower than previous years in Minn). Davis/Cousins are taking that many 3PA combined right now and this thread is having an aneurysm after a solid win v the Wolves. Imagine the reaction to Davis turning into Love...
Pekovic was happy to bang in the paint. Neither Davis nor Cousins (in Sac too) really want to do that. Pekovic also only took 13 FGA/G. Neither Davis nor Cousins have been that low in years
There probably needs to be a realization that maybe one (or both) of these guys guy will have to see a drop in raw scoring (but perhaps a jump in REB, AST, defense, etc) for this to work. It just might not be fantasy hoops where they each get 25/12 every night.
It's a process

Honestly, can you name anyone that MM does like? I feel he likes to criticize any player so that he can say "told you so" later. He was on twitter complaining about Crawford and claiming that he is showing what he really is, until Crawford went off and he stopped with the criticism.

The fact that you guys think of me this much is so flattering. Because honestly, I don't think of one of you, or even know/remember who you do or don't like. What moves you might have or might not have made. Who your preferred coach of choice was two years ago.
But you guys all know and remember that about me, and it's just so flattering. Thank you; Thank you all so much!

I never read your blog or Twitter but have heard you mentioned here. That said I mostly had no opinion of you. Your last post moved me from neutral to you're a douche camp.

You have some serious work to do on your grammar and conventions if you want to play the genius angle.

So much troll bait that I don't know where to begin trying to unpack it all.
