Back in 2013 I converted to android via a GS4. A couple of years later went to a Nexus 5X. Just last week upgraded to an iPhone 7 Plus...

Wow huge difference no idea why I went to android in the first place! The user experience on iOS is light years ahead of Nougat.

Every customer I've had who has flipped from iPhone to android regretted it within a month. At least 80% of them returned it within two weeks to get another iPhone. It's crazy because some of them had told me "they swore off Apple" forever lol.

You must have enjoyed Android enough at the time to wait 4 years before switching back. I've only owned Android and feel stupid anytime I have to try to help someone with their iphone.

I will take this time to say frick apple in every single damn way.

We have an old ipad2 I won at work. Wanted to use GameChanger on it to bring to my baseball games. Have to upgrade to install app, ok fine. Go to update, input my password, oh no account is locked from 3 years earlier. Can't unlock it because I don't remember my credit card number from 8 years before. Can't get reset activation to my email because it's on my edu email I can't access anymore. So I've got one big free paper weight.

Fast forward. Wife is long time android, wanted to try iphone. Got her the 6 plus. Dropped it, screen shattered. Replaced the screen. Fell on the couch. Screen no longer works. Said frick apple, got the google pixel. Oh can't activate the pixel because find my iphone is on. Can't turn off find my iphone because phone is broken. Can't receive activation code for 2 step verification because the fricking phone is broken.

So I've got 1 broken iphone6, a brand new pixel, and a replacement iphone 6 sitting right next to me. I can't do shite with them because find my iphone is on. Can't turn it off. Apple requires me to send in a proof of purchase and 3 business days to manually turn it off.

frick APPLE.

Why does find my iPhone being on not allow you to activate a Pixel?

How can any user experience be better than personalized, custom user experience without limits?

On an Android device you create your own user experience. If you didn't create the perfect user experience for yourself then you probably had no business owning an Android device.

If you want to say the hardware on an 800.00 iPhone 7+ is better than the 300.00 Nexus 5X that would be accurate.

I'm sure people that switched from an old iPhone 6 are blown away by the New pixel or some newer flagship Android device.

Anytime you upgrade from a budget or midrange phone to a newer flagship you should be blown away.

Your user experience comment kind of makes you look uninformed though.

I guess it shows as stolen. If find my iPhone is on every carrier locks the Sim card. Can't activate it at all.

Apple can suck 10,000 dicks.

That doesn't make any sense. Who reported it stolen? I don't think a sim card for an Apple will work in an Android. I can get new sims cards from Verizon any time I want.

Had iPhones 4s and 5s. Switched to Android with an s6 active. Haven't regretted one bit. Can't imagine ever going back to Apple. I think I have my wife convinced to switch too since her iPhone 7 asks her to input her Apple ID like every 15 minutes.

My only regret is getting a Samsung and being on att. I won't be doing either again when my contract is up in december

To each his own. I'm not an apple hater at all. I just prefer Android. My first iPhone was fine, but I had alot of problems with my 6s.

Exactly. They are both phones that do more or less the same things. We should be happy that there are 2 strong phone OSes that push each other to improve. It's kind of a shame that MicroSoft blew their chance with phones because a 3rd strong phone OS would be even better for innovation.

I will never use an iPhone again since switching to android.

I enjoy having total control over my user experience too much.

That being said, I can see how it's not for everyone.
