From my past:

Round the Corner (I worked there)

Cosmo's on Chimes Street

Morning Advocate cafeteria for lunch

Didee's - best duck in town. BR restaurant not quite as good as the Opelousas, but still great.

The Village-

I missed the heyday of The Village. Upon recommendation, I went there with a group for my 21st birthday. It was terrible. Old, dingy, bad food and bad service. It was so bad we actually laughed about it while we were there. I think that was the year they finally closed.

Cock of the Walk

It was where Boutin's is today.

Of course when Cock of the Walk first opened, it was in the sticks....of Bluebonnet!
