The source intimated that other SEC programs have gotten wind of the meeting and could capitalize on the boycott, most notably Alabama. St. Augustine alum Burton Burns recruits the New Orleans region for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are at the root of this.

"Typical black people behavior.
Juluke is black and all the coaches to these schools are black, always playing the victim role/mentality"

Your very ignorant sir. You seem to be a racist pos. Let me guess we as black people are cool as long as we help your team win right? Well keep it up and tell your racist friends to post more. If this shite is not straightened out asap this ship can and will sink very fast. Bama already has north LA. You loose New Orleans your very screwed. OOS kids will not keep coming here if the in state guys keep running.

Yep. This.

If New Orleans wants to have an anti-LSU streak they will find any excuse to do so.

It's just a shame that some kids will be held back from the opportunity to play in front of their home crowd at what is nationally recognized as an elite program and NFL pipeline.

There are plenty of kids in Texas, N. La., and elsewhere who would bleed purple and gold and relish the opportunity to take down Bama.

These coaches have LSU over a barrel.

You really think that a few coaches that coach in the NOLA area could really hold LSU over a barrel? OMG, some of you are some dumb SOB's!!

Trust me they will be crawling on their knees back to LSU before it is all said and done!

This entitled mentality in this country is getting to be beyond ridiculous!! Thank God LSU doesn't turn their back on every school in which we lose a recruit to another school or their coach that would steer their player to another school. God forbid we know this never happened!

LSU didn't offer a lot of their kids this past year and some of them are upset about that and are using Juluke as their reasoning.

Juluke should get involved and diffuse the situation. By all accounts O did the most he could for him and it sounds like Juluke needs more time to focus on his family right now.

And risk being shunned by the black community in Nola for the rest of his life? Not happening and I don't blame him

Coaches leaving after signing day is about as common as recruits transferring for the thinnest of reasons. Sark after dark and Saban did the same thing and it happens 25 times every year.
Ok. People cheat on their spouse all the time. But if my wife does it, I'm divorcing her arse.

Just because it happens, doesnt mean that a person isnt going to hold it against you in the future.

What a joke. This reminds me of the liberal politics in this country

I've said it once and I'll say it again, anyone who brings up politics as a basis for insults when no one is talking about politics is a cuck who completely lacks a personality.

And Saban does this shite all of the time, but I don't hear them bitching about that. They even tried to keep their wide receiver coach leaving quiet but the other school leaked it before signing day.

This EASILY cost us what shot we had at Isaiah Buggs...especially when O didn't immediately put anyone in his place to recruit him.

Sorry, but O as a 1st year HC does not have the leverage to play with potential fire like this and not get repercussions down the road.

That article didn't mention race. Maybe that's what it's all about but it could just as easily be about the kids. These coaches gave LSU access to their players, listened to the recruiters and probably supported and helped kids make the decision to go to LSU then the recruiter gets fired. What does that do to their credibility with the kids if they have been the one telling them to stay in state and trust O and Juluke? How do we know kids aren't going to the coaches like WTF is going on at LSU? For all we know one of them asked O or Juluke point blank if he'd be there next year and was lied to or mislead. We have no idea what went down behind the scenes. Stop assuming black men are playing the race card just because they have an opinion.
