Must be why Tony Hull is in town

He handled it pretty well. He kept the guy on staff instead of kicking him to the curb with no insurance or benefits.

This is crazy. Can they even do that?

What a joke. This reminds me of the liberal politics in this country.

Did they accuse Orgeron of being a racist?

Here's the story on the coaches about boycotting. This is totally unfair to their players if true.

What does this really mean?
They can't stop a kid from being recruited or making a decision to go to LSU

you mean how he kept him on staff instead of straight up firing him?

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be very steadfast in their "boycott"

This is really bad
These coaches MAY BE the only adult influence these athletes have in their life... right or wrong, if they are saying lsu and coach O is racist it can have a disasterous effect on LSUs recruiting of the Nola area
Looks like they are going to try to strong arm LSU

I dont know the reasoning behind why the two of them were fired/reassigned, but there just doesnt seem to be an upside to allowing a kid to be recruited by and develop a relationship with a coach you plan on getting rid of the second the kid signs his letter. Hard for future kids to put alot of trust in a program that does that.

If the coaches were going to do this, they should have just kept their mouths shut and done it. Now they are going to look stupid in the end when they can't uphold their threats. I doubt very much public schools can do this. I realize not all are public but a few are.
