I was recruited by and played for LSU......

I know how it works. Doesnt mean I have to accept someone lying to me.

Its shady and deceitful for a school to let a coach go after NSD but these kids can commit to schools then at the last minute change their mind and go somewhere else. The entire recruiting scene is a two way street where everyone is looking out for themselves, head coaches looking out for their programs and players looking for which school has the correct color Dodge Charger.

No pride, my point is that while he may have been unjustly fired, you can bet your bottom dollar that they are going to try to make it a white/black thing

But nobody even really (publically) knows the real reason juluke was fired or reassigned

I agree. I am just saying they have a legitimate reason to be mad at LSU.

Sounds to me that nobody was actually "fricked over" and some high school coaches got their feelings hurt for no reason.

My father would have kicked my arse if I did that. And I will kick my sons arse if he does that. So I expect the same respect to be shown to me/him. And if you dont, I am not going to simply say "Oh well, thats how it goes."

O probably should have used the Miles method when he wanted to let coaches go.

The source intimated that other SEC programs have gotten wind of the meeting and could capitalize on the boycott, most notably Alabama. St. Augustine alum Burton Burns recruits the New Orleans region for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

Lol, you need a source for this? Of course Saban knows about this. He and Burns are prob the ones throwing gas on the fire and instigating it. Next up Saban will hire Juluke as a consultant. Watch.

I have to admit, I would be pissed at LSU if I was the coach or father of a kid recruited by Juluke.

It was shady and deceitful what LSU did. I understand others do it as well, but it doesnt make it right.

This is hilarious.

Orgeron fires Peveto: The Rant says "what an idiot, he should have waited until after signing day so we wouldn't lose recruits"

Orgeron fires Juluke: The Rant says "what an idiot, he used those coaches just to get recruits, even though he knew he was going to fire them after signing day; the poor kids"

Coaches leaving after signing day is about as common as recruits transferring for the thinnest of reasons. Sark after dark and Saban did the same thing and it happens 25 times every year.

f one of my sons was recruited by someone, and then the coach fired him right after signing day, I am going to be leery about trusting that SOB when he steps into my house again for my other son.

So confused. Juluke was reassigned because he couldn't bring anyone in yet all of these coaches/parents are upset that he recruited their kids and then was let go...

Juluke should get involved and diffuse the situation. By all accounts O did the most he could for him and it sounds like Juluke needs more time to focus on his family right now.

Ed isn't nearly smart or articulate enough to walk the margins like the big boys do. This would be Exhibit A

Our assistant coach when I was recruited, told my father he was looking to be a head coach soon when asked.

Cheating/lying/being deceitful is part of the game. But dont expect there not to be certain repercussions when it happens.
