This is what it is all about. White coach from New Orleans reassigned? Zero fricks given by these coaches.

Any coach using these kids as leverage is a piece of shite.

Absolutely

One of those kids will stay at Kansas, the rest will be elsewhere when their coaches are done using them as pawns

I love how the article mentions who signed because of Juluke but fails to mentioned he whiffed on two top recruits we needed as the main guy.

Even the coaches considering this shows their arrogance.

Nice rebuttal. Makes you seem intelligent.

Did you even read the article?

Area high school football coaches are unhappy with the way Orgeron handled the process, indicating that LSU’s first-year head coach took advantage of Juluke through the final weeks of the recruiting cycle to sign the prospects to letters of intent, then dismiss him, sources told SEC Country.

I dont know the reasoning behind why the two of them were fired/reassigned, but there just doesnt seem to be an upside to allowing a kid to be recruited by and develop a relationship with a coach you plan on getting rid of the second the kid signs his letter. Hard for future kids to put alot of trust in a program that does that.

This. I know it happens all the time but I never understood how Teams got a way with it.

Seriously? Are the coaches going to knit hats and march in solidarity? This is a business and a program that makes as much money as LSU cannot hire and fire based on loyalty or the perception of high school coaches.

To me sounds like there are some melting snowflakes pretending to be coaches.

I have to admit, I would be pissed at LSU if I was the coach or father of a kid recruited by Juluke.

It was shady and deceitful what LSU did. I understand others do it as well, but it doesnt make it right.

I am white as the driven snow.

If one of my sons was recruited by someone, and then the coach fired him right after signing day, I am going to be leery about trusting that SOB when he steps into my house again for my other son.

Then I would say you and your child need to learn more about the recruiting process.

Im not proud of it, but if people really dont like this part of the process then change the signing date. This is so easy to do because you still have months and months to replace that coach. Wouldnt happen, but if signing day was in August for the following year, you'd never see this situation.

This is not an uncommon thing in college athletics, fwiw. Staff changes happen all the time after signing day.
