What's the best NEW restaurant you've been to in the last year? Any price point or style is fine. Just your favorite dining experience.

We know Tiger wise will say CCBBQ

I've really enjoyed The Overpass Merchant for casual dining and a great beer menu. Those brisket tacos are fire

Tacos Morro Loco in Birmingham, AL.

Best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Cheap too.

Not sure if Shaya is still considered "new", but the lamb dinner entree I had a few months ago was phenomenal.

I'll add a vote for Umami.

Also really liked Kukhnya in New Orleans; not sure how new it is though.

Shaya, but then i sent my dad and uncle there and come to find out there is almost no meat dish on the lunch menu. I had told them to get the Wagyu. My dad ordered that and they gave him Lamb Ragu. lol

Of all the new places I went there four times. Meril is really good as well.

technicality if you count the pop-up at CWW or Grits, but I'll say Blue Oak since they officially opened last April.

Here in Santa Barbara: none

The food sucks here as its all targeted towards either tourists, or the vanilla rich people that live here.

I can't wait to move to a real place with a real food scene. The weather is great, though!!

Recently went to Kenny and Ziggy's in Houston on a sales trip.
That #1, Pastrami and Corned Beef was excellent

Also, Hofbrau Beer Garden in Panama City Beach was great too
