Thank sweet baby Jesus it didn't turn out to be "Forces of Destiny." Cringe.

Luke was the last Jedi also after Yoda died. So Rey will discover the identity of her father through some struggle and be forced to face her greatest fears in fighting a person from her past while becoming the last Jedi.

YAY! More originality!

ETA: the direction of this trilogy really is a kick in the balls to the impact of the original trilogy. Instead of FURTHERING the Saga, they seem to just be resetting it.

Thank god it's not some of the lamer titles that were leaked.

It's not bad, just plain. The red Star Wars is interesting

I love it. Great title.

Honestly one of the best titles in the whole saga.

Just saw that. It seems like more of a final episode title and yeah, I guess it's a little spoilery, but it sounds cool.

ETA: Hopefully, Rey will be able to possess the power of the glow.

The last Jedi does not mean the last force user, or the last good force user. The Jedi needed to go.

If Luke dies I might cry in the theater.

Weird seeing the Star Wars logo in red instead of yellow, probably to show how dark the sequel will be. I could see this being the Empire strikes back of Star Wars ... wait a second.

Isn't the plural of "Jedi" just "Jedi"? Couldn't they mean the last more than one Jedi?

I don't have time to read the entire thread right now so I'm sure that this has been brought up but Jedi is singular and plural. The title could refer to Luke and Rey.
