Oh and for you people that head to best stop you might be missing out on the best thing they make there.... always and I mean always get a couple pounds of their andouille. It's phenomenal..

I found that it tastes more like a Cajun salami. I don't care for it at all. If I lived near the Scott exit, I would probably make the drive to Port Allen to stock up on andouille at Bergeron's where they make a product that appeals to me far more.

I had a job going in church point so I hit all the places in Scott over several weeks. All good but none better than Ronnies smoked boudin 5 minutes from my house in Hammond

I don't think Billeaud's is overrated. I'm the only one who mentioned it in this thread. When I've had it, it has tasted really similar to Billy's. I've had Bestop and found it's lacking in seasoning compared to the two I mentioned.

Best boudin is Billy's if you like just the right amount of heat, and Best Stop is the just the perfect balance of everything that makes boudin special.

Strangely, these are two places that I find to be overrated. To each his own, I guess.

Another vote for T-Boy's Mamou. Billy's in Krotz Springs is close second.

I usually agree with this
There have been times where I've had Dons in Carencro when it isn't too spicy and it's the best boudin I have had.

The best boudin product I've tasted, as well. Ronnie's is superior.

Ray's got nothing on T-Boy's or Ronnie's.
