Just recently started living in an apartment. Never really had this much alone time before. How did the OT handle living solo at first ?

I'd always had roommates until about 2 years ago when I lived solo for the first time.
At first it was a bit of an adjustment not having someone to talk to, but I got used to it. Eventaully I loved the freedom. Don't have to share the TV with anyone and can watch what you want when you want. If you want to read a book or listen to music, you can without either bothering someone else or being bothered by them. No worries about someone eating your food. You can get trashed if you want and nobody will look down on you for it. You can walk around in boxers all the time, or even less if you want! You can beat off with the volume on. You have total control of the temperature. I mean the list goes on and on for the positives.

Drink heavily and watch what i wanted to watch on tv. Clean since you are the only one responsible for doing so now.

Those were the days.
Loved living alone.
Love my wife and kids but the freedom that living alone provides is awesome, if you like being alone.

I drank bourbon and listened to my music and movies really loud. Loved it!

you're right....there is certainly an adjustment. it is literally the first time in your life that you have consistently found yourself alone in the house. Initially, it seems like you have nothing to do and is kind of boring. eventually, you find yourself pretty busy keeping up with things that used to be split among multiple people.
at this point, I think having anyone else in the house would be a major inconvenience to me.

Get a roommate. Or don't. My roommate is one of my good friends but I cherish the time I have our place to myself (sorry, Frank)

Just have friends over, or go to a friends. Eventually gets to a point you never want a roommate again.
No one eating your left over pizza. Jerk off whenever you want, put it on the big screen and blare it. shite with the door open. frick ugly chicks and no one else will know. Drink out of the milk jug or oj jug. No one stealing your socks. No one using your deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash. No one to use your razor on their junk without you knowing. Buying a shite load of tp and it actually lasting. No one accidentally recording over your shows.
List goes on

I lived alone for almost three years thru college.
It was so easy running three or four girls through my house in a week because there were no roommates/ roommates SOs to call me out and spill the beans and no one to judge. I was walking distance to bogies and stumbled there and back many nights. It was easily the best three years of my short unimportant life so far.
