Curious of the Board's opinion. Like to go see some new acts too.
I think Earphunk is doing very strong things.
Motel Radio def on the rise
Mainstream, I imagine most will say Revivalists but I just can't get into them.
From the old guard, thought Galactic did some decent things on their 2015 album

too popular, the answer has to be something more contrarian

Pretty hard to choose when there are so many great bands out there. Just about anyone playing places like Razzoo's, Bandstand, or Famous Door is pretty legit.
Heard one band do an awesome cover of "Wagon Wheel" followed by "Don't Stop Believing" at the Old Opry House. Not many bands in the world with that kind of versatility.

Seratones, except they are technically Shreveport based.

Good to see a Shreveport band climbing the scene. They dont move the needle for me but wish them good things. Brass Bed would be another LA local doing good things.
What happened to Givers and Royal Teeth? Came out hot and have pretty much taken large steps back.
Havent caught Elysian Feel yet. Know they are young.
Is Gravy Flavored Kisses still around? Or Gravy even?

Givers released an album last year I believe. They don't tour much as I think they are all still at ULL.
