You have a link to the mod(s)?

LINK

Makes flying and landing soooo much easier and less frustrating. You can also go underwater. Note that you will take damage for hitting the landscape or space stations.

That said I'm still putting 4-5 hours a day in this game, vanilla on ps4, and I love it.

Same on the PC. I haven't found much of an issue with flying though, I have gotten good about spotting resources from the air I guess.

I have slowed down my planet hopping a bit though. Driving towards the center just isn't as much of a priority anymore.

The journey not the destination and all of that.

I'm interested to see what they add to the game now that they have patched the stability of it.

Still playing and enjoying but I'm not logging much time due to my company being busy as shite which is a good thing. My crews probably hate me right now.

No Man's Sky was never a kickstarter game.

Never said it was. I said that would be the only grounds, I feel, that someone would have for a lawsuit over this.

Same here. I spent all day last Saturday - something like 8-10 hours - on a single planet.

Atlas Pass v1 is easy to get and the drops give you the ingredient to make antimatter and then warp cores. Or something like that. You can get easy warp cores with them.

Low flight mod and Deep Space mod are must haves on PC. Amazing what a difference the low flight mod makes.

It's hilarious how much this game has flopped. Everyone associated with the game and it's development will have and extremely difficult time getting jobs after this. I hope Sean Murray never gets a job in the gaming industry ever again at any level.

I will at least say that I got several hours out of this

People are being far too hard on the developer. It's far from the worst game I've ever purchased, and is pretty damn impressive for the amount of people working on it. It's one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played, and the simplicity with which you can take off of a planet and land on another one at will is commendable.

A few things would've made the game better such as more assets to through into the blender for the procedurally generated universe, more biomes (ie desert), and weather conditions/temperature that actually makes sense given the planet's proximity to the sun.

There also needs to be more game in the game like trading between systems, mission terminals, etc. I said before that what they have is a solid foundation to build upon, but it remains to be seen what they're going to do with the game going forward. Can't say I've seen much so far.

The game is, at best, a beta that was sold at full price.

Outside of the people that take it too far, the developers deserve all the criticism they get.
