I always see it on TD and don't think ive ever been, however saw in the Dallas paper today that they are planning on building there first location outside of Louisiana in Frisco, TX(suburb of Dallas), which is 10 minutes from me.

curious if its worth checking out. i always assumed it was like a BWW or Twin Peaks, etc.

TIA

I ate at the one in Shreveport one time and immediately got sick afterwards.

I don't think I'll be back.

I think it was the shrimp tacos, which were so bad that I just ate the shrimp out of them because whatever sauce they had on it was disgusting...but I guess not even the shrimp were safe.

People love to hate it.

Just like many other places.

Walk-ons is a fun place to go and hangout with friends, drink, and watch games.

It's not a fancy restaurant; the food is good for what it is, sports bar food.

It's a fun place to go drink and watch a game.

The food is fine, nothing to write home about but it is consistent. There cheese fries are fantastic.

I live just south of frisco so I'll go if/when it opens.

What was once a solid eatery has abandoned any sense of quality to become a chain.

Yup, its a sports bar. Nice looking girls, great cheese fries, halfway decent food options, and beer. Refuse to get the burger again until they fix that atrocity of a bun.

I will say I was there for a game this weekend. Drinking beers and probably had 7-8, only charged for 3.

Typical sports bar, but I've found them to be a little better in food and service than the likes of BWW or Fox and Hound, etc

For some reason the worker chicks at Walk-Ons have to wear Ole Miss looking uniforms....Walk-Ons is way better than BWW, and I've never been to Twin Peaks.

See, I think the quality of the food at Walk-Ons has gone up in the past few years. They brought in a local chef to improve their food. I've been there a couple of times in the past year or so; before that it had been several years between my visits to Walk-Ons. It ain't the Chimes, but it's better than Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings or Pluckers

GOAT when it comes to cheese sticks. I think theyre actually called cheese logs. They have a solid beer selection as well. That should tell you everything you need to know. It's the type of place that would excel at cheese sticks, it's a good vibe and atmosphere for a game and they an array of beer and sexy waitresses.
