Knowing that every pitch will be a fastball, I'm pretty sure I'd get the timing down pretty quick. The only thing left is location. Assuming I'd probably miss the first 10 or so, I think I'd make contact with ~50% of the rest, so 40-45. If you let the pitcher mix in some off-speed, slider, curve type stuff, that number goes WAYYYY down.

This. In high school, Scruffy batted against a few pitchers who could hit 90s. If it is only fastballs, there would be some contact.

If Scruffy is still in his 20s I would imagine there would be more than just some contact

I miss the first 15 completely, then make contact on 45% of pitches.

So, about 38 pitches.

Been a long time since I've played

Sure.

Scruffy was trying to be modest.

There wouldn't be any HRs. Never did hit one.

If I knew he wasn't going to hit me: 25

If I didn't know if he was going to hit me: 0

I would make contact on 85% or more of them. I would hit at least 5 out of the park. Probably closer to 10-15.

Guess I need to change the parameters. Lets say an MLB pitcher with his full arsenal of pitches. How many can you at least tip?

Not many. Anything above 85 mph and I look like Bartolo Colon.

Then he is not a MLB fastball. Almost ALL of the pitchers at that level have movement on fastballs. The timing of major league hitters is too good without movement. In, out, up, down....EVEN on fastballs.

92-100 is a huge variation. Also, is this a 2-seam or a 4-seam? At 92 mph on a straight 4-seam, I'd say about 70 after I get the timing down on the first 10 or so. If it's a 2-seam with movement in towards me, then that number goes down drastically. Anyone that was a decent high school player has hit against 80's fastball regularly. Squaring up a straight pitch is not the difficult part of hitting, (although its still difficult in general for someone that wasn't a good player) it's having to deal with offspeed stuff combined with having to react to more velocity from a fastball.

Is this a two seam fastball with a lot of movement or a flat 4 seamer?

It is actually hard to throw 95 without movement. Maybe impossible
