re: US Marine leaves Trump Rally tonight

What did he say that was prejudice? Are you saying minoroties don't dominate the percentages of those receiving handouts/ welfare? Are you saying they don't vote democrat? Or are you just quick to declare someone with a point you don't agree on racist/prejudice as a way of deflecting from the facts of the matter?

Thanks guys. I'll try most or all of these. This is a slough that got stocked by a river in the 1,000 year flood event we had this spring. Never had fish to speak of until now. When the wind is strong and pushes the duck week to one side we catch the shot out of them. But in a solid blanket we havnt caught a ton. Thx again

I should have put besides a frog. That's all I've been throwing but I'm not catching a whole lot. Spinner bait is getting immobilized when it passes thru the duck weed in the heavier areas
What do throw for bass in heavy duck weed?

No real hydrilla or grass or anything. Just some moderate to heavy duck weed.
re: How many MLB pitches could you at least foul tip (out of 100 pitches)?

I would make contact on 85% or more of them. I would hit at least 5 out of the park. Probably closer to 10-15.

re: How do you keep shirts from smelling after running?
Posted by Newt Dobbs on 6/1/16 at 3:41 pm to beaver retriever
It comes from not washing immediately after running/sweating. Left to lay around soaked for even a little while can set in the funk. Once it's in it's over. Come in, chunk it in the washer and turn it on
re: My Non-travel ball playing nephew just made the HS baseball team
Posted by Newt Dobbs on 6/1/16 at 11:35 am to slackster
My nephew, if he goes to college, will probably get 40%-50% for baseball because his a academics will cover the rest. In baseball it's pretty much the smarter you are the less scholarship money you get from the athletic side. But they will make up as much of the difference as possible if they have the grades/scores. That is what I meant by "full ride", which you are correct, is not exactly accurate. If a kid gets 90% of a baseball scolly he is likely dumb as a box of rocks.

The HS coach will require him to play on the HS summer travel team more than likely.

True. But coupled with his academics he will.

My travel ball playing cousin is about to get either paid out the arse or a full ride to a D-1 school of his choosing. But good on your nephew.

Not sure what plate I have to step up to, Hoss. If you're referring to MSU playing stronger ooc teams I'm all for it. I don't however think it will amount to a hill of beans. Assuming it is based off the previous seasons RPI I know it won't. CBB is too volatile year to year. This is much ado about nothing.

This won't amount to anything different. Too much paradox in college basketball. The difference between RPI 180 and RPI 80 is not much, generally speaking. This ain't football

re: Is Kevin O'Sullivan more of an elite baseball coach than Paul Mainieri?

He's a good coach. So is Pulmonary. Pulmonary has a ring. He is more elite
