oh yeah, that was rough. I think that was the season premiere. They were getting along great and it was just a freak accident. Pretty bad burn too. She tried to stay in but it got infected. Of all things burns really need to be kept clean.

That burn was gnarly. That was one tough chick.

Did you see the one where the chick laid down by the fire, while the dude walked off, leaving the pot of boiling water resting on the stack of shifting embers? She was a real baller for staying in the game for several more days.
I don't remember that... sounds like a frick up on both of their parts.

I caught the first part of that one too. They were doing well until that happened.

I like it, have watched a lot recently. They skip a bunch that happens and one section is just rehashing their stupid psr, but i guess they cant really show someone weaving a basket for 4 hours.

It was that guys fault. He walked away from it. It was just sitting on burning sticks, of course it was going to fall over. They should have lowered his psr just for that stunt.

How that blonde chic managed to get on the show I will never understand. Just because she traveled alone all her life? Doesnt mean anything!, especially since she probably stayed in hotels etc. First she was naked, then covered, then after the intervention went naked again...guess she figured compared to the older brunette she looked ok.

Dude was falling apart mentally. Said he was having dark thoughts of hurting other people and himself...I'm sorry but that didn't just come as a result of him being hungry for 5 days...dude has some severe issues. Glad they got him our immediately.
That guy reminded me of some of the new Marine Corps recruits I end up treating at the clinic. Some people are just ill-equipped to deal with any kind of adversity and go to a dark place pretty quickly. They actually are thinking about killing themselves after a week of boot camp.

The idiot from Jennings brought a f'ing slingshot...
Nothing beats the guy who brought goggles!

I think a lot of them are thinking holy shite what have I got myself into and they start pulling that shite so they can get out. I think 2 in my basic class pulled the mental card.

Well I'm former Army and I had the "what did I get myself into" moment. The vast majority of people have that moment but not everyone has those kind of dark, intrusive thoughts of offing themselves. I don't think everyone that pulls that card is being truthful but some are for sure.

you mean nothing beats the count that brought a magnifying glass to purify water.

I've never before seen "Single Mom" listed as a survival skill until I started watching this show.

I think multiple people have brought them but the marine biologist dude on the foursome episode was able to fish lobsters and stuff with them. In that case they were pretty helpful.

I would bring a air mattress and mosquito net.

There must be restrictions or why not bring a tent? Even I could survive a few days out there if I had a tent.

My wife and I watch N & A. We both agree we could not do it. The bugs would drive us insane. Plus think how cold you would get if it rained and your naked.

Some of the places they put the contestants are much easier than others. I could deal with a lot of things, but getting eaten alive by gnats and skeeters all night would send me home with a quickness.

fricking this.
That's the best episode I've seen. She was worthless and the guy was a champ. Very happy he made it out and even happier when she got yanked for dehydration.
