2001 SECCG victory over Tennessee for me because it was a hurdle to the next level we always wanted to be.

Also 2006 victory over Texas to go to Final four.

I was lucky enough to be at both.

Same here. The vibe in NOLA was incredible. Geaux Tigers signs everywhere and downtown buildings lit up in purple and gold.

Even Pete Carroll running his mouth and the media doing everything possible to downplay our win wasn't enough to put a damper on that night.

Watching a group of Miles haters come unglued and veins in thier heads burst when Miles castrated Alleva and the "big money buyout" douchebags after the A&M game.

Stepping out of the concourse of the Superdome and into the actual stadium pregame for that one is it for me. Like someone else said, living through the 90s, you never really thought you'd see LSU playing for a National Championship. The electricity inside was such that it was pretty much at the moment I felt it, I knew we had the game won. Game was never really in doubt from the opening drive on, either.

Warren Morris home run. I was 6 years old and went to go grab my dad a beer and after the ball landed in the stands my dad jumped up knocking the beer out of my hand and all over me. I started crying because beer was all over me, my dad was yelling at me I thought but didn't realize what had happened haha

There 2003 natl championship was quite special. As was the game of the century in 202011. That entire "year" was incredible with LSU and the Honey Badger taking on all comers and beating them all.
But the way the LSU fans supported and the way the team supported CLM last year in the final game against A&M was absolutely special for me as a Miles supporter.

Yes, this. And beating UGA twice in one season that same year.
#1A is the Bluegrass Miracle.
And #1A.1 is years ago in the late 1960s, the titanic 0-3 loss to highly ranked Notre Dame (stolen game by refs) that resulted in LSU actually rising in the rankings the next week.

the fact that beating Ole Miss was considered an upset, and warranted rushing the field, definitely isn't my peak of happiness as an LSU fan

It was mostly to troll Ole Miss. They had just rushed the field against Bama earlier in the year.

I also think people forget what it was like going into that game. We lost to freaking Miss State (in front of a crowd that had all but left by the start of the fourth quarter), Auburn had made us our bitch, we barely scraped by a not good Florida team. Now Ole Miss was going to come in our house and beat us. No one expected that win to happen. At least I didn't and most of my friends didn't. But at the time, crushing Ole Miss's title hopes and all of a sudden we were in a position to win the West. The immediacy of the turnaround was what made it so great. Having no no expectations of winning but having a rocking stadium help us pull off the upset against who is historically our biggest rival outside of Tulane. For me, that surpasses the Game of the Century. Maybe if we had won the rematch that would be it. The 2012 game would probably have done it too, but we haven't had that kind of success in the big moments, against Bama. I also just didn't appreciate the 03 championship as much being young. I've been spoiled growing up in the late 90s, early 2000s. That season was the first time I ever felt truly embarrassed as a Tiger fan. The Ole Miss game felt like we got our balls back, and that's why it's my favorite.

The only other moment I've witnessed in person that made me personally as happy was the 07 UF game.

So every one of the 1 million or so Tiger fans are """" O N L Y """"" happy when LSU wins a national championship. No other time.
You are the only one that's a happy fan.

The same ole miss that has beaten Bama the last 2 years? Some of our fans need to stop thinking of ole miss as the 2011 ole miss

Post 2011 SECCG. I just really enjoyed the undefeated season until they announced Alabama again.

Rushing the field vs Ole Miss was also fun and a great memory. I took one of the cheerleader T cards that spell TIGERS and I have that in my room
