I can't choose between being at these 3 football games:
Georgia in Baton Rouge '03. I was only 12 and was still getting used to LSU being a good team. The 98-99 seasons were the first two seasons I really remembered well, and that game is what really made me realize my Tigers were going to be a force for a long time to come.
Florida in Baton Rouge '07. At this point I was convinced LSU was going to go undefeated and stop everyone on their way to the NC. Being at this game might be my best experience in Tiger Stadium... maybe. It's hard to choose, I haven't missed a home game since I was like 10.
Ohio State for the NC: This was probably the most pumped I have ever been for a football game. I couldn't speak by the end of it. Only other time that has happened was our last NC appearance because me and my brother held out hope until the end. I'd do it again, even if I'm still pissed about it.
EDIT: Oh yeah, other sports. I remember watching the baseball team win in 2000. That was fun to watch, my uncles were freaking out thinking we were gonna lose.
Basketball, I loved watching Torris Bright, Stromile Swift, and CT3 play as a kid. And 2006 was amazing, I followed that team all the way and was quite upset when they lost in the final four.

beating the Vols for the Sec Championship. We were officially back and I doubted I would ever be able to say that

How is Warren's homer the peak? We won the national title the next year, too.
I was there, and I am telling you, it was a magical moment. Only time in the history of college baseball that a home run won a national title. His running around the bases is now the CWS logo. Trust me, it was special.
We've won 3 football titles, so any one of them is discounted? Makes no sense

2007/08 NC Game. I got family in Louisiana and I played HS ball in Louisiana but moved back home to OHIO. My dad pounded LSU into my head since I was a kid. So when we beat OSU for the NATTI it was an awesome moment. Not to mention I had about 5 buddies over that night and they were all in their OSU gear barking in my ear. Well until the tide of the game turned and LSU hung 31 straight unanswered points on those buckeyes.

Beating Duke in the Sweet 16. Hated JJ Reddick more than Saban when he signed with Bama

BCS final standings announcement on Sunday after the 2007 SEC Championship when we officially leapfrogged into the MNC game.

OK all you youngsters, here goes...when Bert Jones threw to Brad Davis to beat Ole Miss in '71, my incredibly hot date threw her arms around my neck and yelled "I love you." First time she ever told me. Six months later we were married. 44 years later we still say "I love you" when LSU scores.

the fact that beating Ole Miss was considered an upset, and warranted rushing the field, definitely isn't my peak of happiness as an LSU fan
I agree. I was in grad school when it happened. In undergrad, I saw the 05-07 football run, the 05-06 final four, and the 2009 CWS. So going nuts over a win against ole miss seemed like dark days. But I rushed anyway, because, what the hell? And I'm damn glad I did. Still have some grass in a ziplock somewhere.

The 1981 Midwest Regional in the Superdome was pretty awesome. 60,000 fans for the NCAA Tournament was impressive and our wins over Arkansas and Witchita State were great. LSU was the favorite by many to win it all and we played like it that weekend.

For me, It has to be the 2003 National Championship. I never thought I would see one after what we went through in the 80's and 90's.

I'd say on the heels of the the 2004 natty title, just before Bertman and his EGO ran off both Saban and Henry(two guys like Stanley himself..the best in their biz), and all their eventual hardware to SEC rivals.
That or around 2009, when LSU had a recent Football Natty, were Baseball Champs, and won the SEC Hoops crown outright and were the only team to give UNC a battle in the dance.

being out on bourbon as miles brought out the crystal ball is probably up there. Very cool moment.

The same ole miss that has beaten Bama the last 2 years?
The same Ole Miss team that went 9-4 in 2014. Yes we rushed the field for beating a 9-4 team we should be expected to beat. That is what we've been reduced to the past 4 years.

For some reason, I felt at complete ease during this game. Normally, I am a nervous wreck watching LSU play, but not this night. I don't remember if I was so calm because I was so proud that LSU was on that stage, or if I was confident that they would win. Instead of jumping around screaming, I just felt a sense that all was now right in the world. The LSU Fighting Tigers were football's National Champions!
