I think to be Bourbon it just has to be 51% corn, aged in new white oak barrels, and aged at least 2 years. There are another couple things about barrel entry proof and being at least 80 proof in the bottle.

I thought too, but these guys seem to really be toeing the line. Says one year on the bottle.

Either way, easy pass if anyone was thinking about it.

If blantons was in a plain bottle like that, it would be plentiful. People want the fancy bottle and cork.

Good call on that shortcuts, very cool, thanks Weskarl!

How’s it going gents? It’s been a while. Picked up this today courtesy of Mathernes LSU. That store is pretty nice, curious to see how they do with all those college kids.

That Belle Meade cask strength is phenomenal. I need to find a bottle.

Erased the FEW with a pour of Martin's Belle Meade Cognac pick.

Last of the evening is a pour of sweet, funky barnwood. I love this bottle and I'm getting anxiety at its fill level.

Bourbon has no minimum specified duration for its aging period.[23] Products aged for as little as three months are sold as bourbon.[24] The exception is straight bourbon, which has a minimum aging requirement of two years. In addition, any bourbon aged less than four years must include an age statement on its label.[25][26]

I’ve actually given two away as gifts this year. If I come across another one - happy to sell it to you at what I pay. $50 is about my limit for W12 - so wouldn’t be for more than that.

I found some really nice rock glasses at all places, WalMart. These things are solid. The weigh a ton.

Plus they are $5 for 4 glasses
