FPD

Maybe it’s the lower proof of this one... but it seems kinda flat to me. I thought maybe my taste buds were cooked last night when I had it but I made it FPD for that reason today. My next bottle will be 1920

FPD: Rowans Creek - this is my first time having this bourbon. Have any of you had it before? If so, what are your thoughts?

Pretty solid to me - especially for $37.00.

Thanks, I just started using the simple syrup, way easier and cleaner than muddling the sugar cube. Ordered these from Amazon, the squares are easir to deal with than the balls and this microplane does everything,

Deeper flavor? I just grabbed this last week to give it a shot when this runs out I will make some. Needed this in a pinch for a Christmas party.

Got this as part of a bundle of bottles that included some I really wanted. Two things:

1. Very meh. Gonna be a mixer from here on out.

2. Says bourbon on the front, then says mashed, fermented, distilled and aged in Illinois. Thought there were legal restrictions on calling it bourbon that included Kentucky distilling?

I thought that restriction changed but I could be wrong.
