Did EH Taylor Barrel Proof even makes it way to the shelves in Nola? Everyone is sold out and I haven't even seen a bottle in the city from the latest release.

Did they have any ETL left over? I might have to go by there tomorrow to try to grab a bottle.

Saw some WT 101 Rye, if anyone is interested. Thought I remembered someone saying they missed it, or it was hard to find a while back.

I dont know that it's made it to LA yet. We tend to get stuff a little late. For comparison, Seasoned Wood was released in March, we didnt get it here until the back part of April. The Barrel Proof was released in May so I would expect to start seeing it towards the end of June?

I picked up a EHT single barrel today, left another one on the shelf at $59. They had a Blood Oath also that I passed on at $99. This was in north Louisiana if anyone is interested.

They are bringing it back. I picked up a bottle in Atlanta this weekend.

I think the trade was good for both of us.

I have heard that it is not as good as the old WT 101 Rye.

It's close but I have to give the edge to the old stuff.

Also the fact that it's now $40 instead of the $20ish it used to go for kinda annoys me. I'll keep a bottle around but the day they release a 100+ proof baby saz I'll never buy WT101 again.

I'm terrible at giving reviews other than if I liked it or not but what I'd say is that the traditional WT rye flavors were a lot more pronounced in the older stuff.

This seems more tailored to a wider audience and as a filler for cocktails than as a sipping rye like the old WT101 rye.

Can anyone recommend a bourbon in the 20-40$ range? I usually mix evan williams and drink 1792 single barrel.

My supply of 1792 is running dry and I figured I would branch out.
