No...he had the bottles stashed, but knew how much I liked them. That rye is getting cracked very soon. I owe him big time...I paid for all 4 what the rye alone costs online.

Couple questions:
1) Is $80 for ETL reasonable nowadays? I have had it when it was $30. Good stuff. Buying gifts and want to know if it can be found cheaper.
2.) I love rye's. Mitchers barrell strength good?
3.). Is Parker's Heritage Malt Whiskey worth a damn? And what does it compare too? Never had a malt whiskey. Promise of Hope is my rubric to compare bourbon's too so I am a big fan of the PHC releases

It's excellent. Spicy, complex...and a perfect high profile rye.
I love pick 1...starting to love pick 2 as well. I have an extra bottle of each and I'm thinking I'm hanging on to both rather than trading. What are your thoughts on them?

No idea if it can be found for less. It really stinks it has gone this way.
Have not had the barrel strength the regular is decent.
I have only had the malt once and it's a decent pour if you can find it for msrp it might be worth it. It's different than the pig but haven't had them side by side.
