How much do you spend monthly on groceries and eating out for a family of 3 or 4?

family of 3
about $100/week on groceries
and probably another $100/week on eating out
so say anywhere between $800-$1000 month on food
we don't go cheap though, so that might be higher than normal, as we get most of our meat from a local farmer

My wife and I spend between $600-$700 (just calculated last months)for the both of us. I'm not sure how a family of 4 can eat off of $17 a day. I'm pretty physically active and fit though and try to get 3K calories a day.

I just did an average on 4 months and it's about $960 a month. That's groceries and me eating out for lunch. $405 out to eat $555 on groceries. I thought that was a little high but I guess not

I think for my family (wife, 2 kids), we spend around 800.

I added mine up from last year. I should not have done that. Lol

Family of 5
I would say $900-1k a month on groceries. Now that includes beer/wine/whiskey etc
Maybe $1200 if you figure in eating out. Donald Rouse sure seems to get a shitload of my money lately.
ETA: We eat out maybe twice a month and it is normally $60-80 or less not going anywhere fancy.

My wife and I, a 5 y/o boy and 3 y/o boy:
$700/month groceries
$200-300/month dining out/fast-food/cafeteria lunches

2 adults, 1 toddler.
$1200 on groceries/toiletries/etc
$400 eating out
The grocery bill is obscene. I'm thinking of having part of my paycheck direct deposited to Kroger to make it easier.

Two of us with a 1 y/o and we budget $600 in groceries. We don't eat out, ever, but we do order in food which is another $150 or so. So total about $750. Try to buy our meat in bulk at Costco and then go to the grocery store a few times a week to get veggies and other sides.

Just for my wife and I, groceries and eating out is about $500/month. If I hd kids, would guess about $200 more.

Family of 4 (1.5 and 2.5 year old kids) $125-$150 a week at WalMart covers us for food, diapers and toiletries so $600 a month. Used to be higher when the wife was at home with them but now that portion is rolled up in daycare costs. Probably another $300 eating out for lunches a few times a week each.

$600 groceries
$100 vodka and wine
$700 eating out
Family of four
We spend more time together as a family when we eat out than we do eating at home. Crazy life.

Wife and I probably spend close to $5-600 a month on groceries, and anther $150-200 eating out. We don't eat out much, maybe 3-4 times a month.
