I do. I live modestly with respect to cars, houses and other items I don't find highly essential.

I do spend money on travel, food, golf and fishing, and I never worry about how much money I spend in these areas.

The amount I save by not driving new cars, and living in a 1MM house, far outweighs what I spend in the areas where I'm liberal in my spending.

I just spent $136 at the grocery store and this should last me at least a couple of weeks. Eating lunch at the cafeteria rather than bringing lunch can add up. That's where most of my monthly food budget is spent.

Went through the bank account and roughly added up the last month to $765 at the grocery store and restaurants and that's with us "cutting back" to put away money for a new car by taking our lunches and not eating out through the week.

It sucks when you add it all up.
