Anyone know Chandler Rome?

Heard him on the radio today in Lafayette, he was giving really great updates and insights on the Tigers. Seems to know as much about current LSU baseball team as anyone.
He works for the advocate, and went to LSU. Don't know much about him except that he's a really young, but up and coming reporter. Will take him over Klienpeter any day.

I'm waiting for Trey Mongrue to make it back to BR. He was writing for Dig before taking a sports anchor job up in Monroe. He is kind of a posi-tiger so most on here would probably hate him.

I hate how everyone is judging this guy so much. I get that some people may feel he is somewhat biased, but for the most part I haven't really gotten that vibe from his work. He seems to just give the facts and doesn't try to warp them to make LSU seem better than they are. He gives quality info, and it isn't really fair to compare him to other writers who have had years to refine their craft in the journalism field.

I've known him IRL for ~6.5 years, I'll withhold my opinions on him and his work, but I will say he's a regular poster on this site.

Sir,please. Any positive remark about a member of the media--radio,tv,paper,blogger--who says something good about LSU will not be tolerated here.

grew up with Chandler. He is a great dude, very knowledgeable and well spoken. Young and new to the business but a tiger through and through. He will be a good one, hopefully supplants some of those other hack writers.
