The San Diego Padres traded the former tiger second baseman, to the Tampa Bay Rays for minor-league infielder Deion Tansel, according to a club announcement Tuesday.
Schimpf was sent down to Triple-A the last four months of the 2017 season. He has hit 34 home-runs in 441 at-bats in the majors and has slashed .195/.317/.492 in the majors.
Deion Tansel is a 5-foot-8 23 y/o utility infielder, drafted in the 32nd round of the 2016 draft. who slashed .280/.345/.392 in short season A-ball over the past 2 season.

All of these predictions have the Troy game being a blowout, but I feel like they aren't just going to be this cupcake that everyone thinks they are. They were on of the better Group of 5 teams lat year at 10-3. I think we win and and I don't think it'll be particularly close, but I don't think it'll be a complete rout either. I'd say 31-10 is reasonable if we play well.

He's gone after this season, unless he can somehow get worse. If it gets even worse, he'll be gone before.

He's getting fired, and anyone with eyes can see the writing on the wall. It's now a matter of when and how LSU wants to go through this process. They could fire him midseason and possibly create a spark for the team, or they could just ride it out until the season ends. There is no way to salvage this season, and either way, I just hope the player are willing to play hard for whoever lands the job in the future.

My roommates and I are moving into a house and are trying to figure out what Provider/Router set up we should use.

I'm a fan of the Asus Zenbooks. They aren't too expensive, but you still get a quality laptop.

I think the junior announcer grading is funny. It's not like he's viciously going after these kids. It's just a little thing he's done to add something to his game coverage and stand out from the crowd a little, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I hate how everyone is judging this guy so much. I get that some people may feel he is somewhat biased, but for the most part I haven't really gotten that vibe from his work. He seems to just give the facts and doesn't try to warp them to make LSU seem better than they are. He gives quality info, and it isn't really fair to compare him to other writers who have had years to refine their craft in the journalism field.
