I've been strictly Grey Goose for years and have always loved it. Recently I tried Absolut Elix after having it recommended by a friend and I think I like it better than Goose. Anyone else have any top shelf vodka's that they drink?

Honestly as long as it's triple distilled it should be pretty good. A lot of the time you are paying for a fancy bottle, like in the case of Grey Goose.

Does Pinnacle count?

In all seriousness, my wife is the vodka drinker, and she drinks mixed. So she gets Pinnacle.

I tend to go Titos when I buy.

If you can find a better Vodka than Sobieski at $20/ handle, I'd love to hear it.

What's the point of a liquor if all you crave is it to be smooth/taste like water (which is often the compliments of crap like grey goose. If that the case you don't really enjoy liquor/vidka.

Real vodka= Russian Standard Platinum and Stoli

But only in cases where vodka must be drunk

I don't drink much vodka, but a friend who does really likes Belvedere.

Got a bottle of this as a gift. Haven't tried it yet. Tito's is also made in Austin.

Costco's Kirkland Vodka is $20 and the same thing as Grey Goose.

Ciroq seems really douchey because of the whole puff daddy thing, but it is actually a tremendous vodka. It is distilled from grapes and has the slightest hint of floral/fruit aromas.

Other than that, Tito's is a very good vodka.

The only vodka I have ever enjoyed drinking straight is Breckenridge Vodka. It is made with corn and snowmelt water. It has a smooth almost sweet taste whereas most vodkas to me personally taste like rubbing alcohol.

I like this stuff. It's made in Nola. I think it's only sold at Dorignac's, Breaux Mart, Martin's and Elio's.

I usually have a 5th of Tito's at the house

I'm not really a big vodka drinker. Once you get beyond a certain quality threshold I don't think there is a lot of difference. As long as you aren't drinking something like Takka.

I, too, prefer Deep Eddy to Tito's. Super smooth, which is important to me because I drink vodka waters. I think they are distributing in LA now, too.
