This.

One time when I was 16 I thought I could. I was quickly proven wrong.

It took one time of my dad to pin me against a wall when I was yelling at my mom to feel his old man strength. Old man strength is real as frick.

I couldn't do anything to him. Built like a brick shite house. And even if I could, I would never.

My friend grew up with a drug addicted father who abused their mother.

Dad looked (and was built) like Deandre Jordan. He was obviously inclined to violence

Son was a former college RB who made the practice team for the NY Jets. Looked and was built like Kembo Slice. He contained his rage very well until he finally let loose.

One day, the son got tired of his mom being abused and the shite he received from the Dad.

It was the most violent hand to hand fight I have ever seen. Dad was eventually knocked out. My friend's mom was a very petite 5'1". She somehow got my friend to stop before killing the dad.

I tried boxing my dad once for fun and found out his hands were lightning quick. Plus he is 6'4 and was 230 at his peak with daily swimming. I never got that big. So frick messing with that.

My dad was a two-time Navy Seal, huge motherfricker, at least 2 meters tall, 300 lbs. Once him and I were playing some one-on-one bball on regulation goals. Well, Steel (what everyone called him) drives for the goal charges and knocks me down while doing a 360 dunk.. Worst part was he jumped so high, his crotch was in my face..his dick was right in my face, and he had a hard on. It was huge, foot, foot and a half easy, and it really pissed me off. I tried to boot up to him and let's just say that was the last time I tried anything like that.

Yeah...

One morning my dad jerked me out of bed. I was half asleep and just went on instinct. 5 seconds and about 8 punches later I realize my Dad is reeling against the wall with a split eye and my Mom is screaming at me to stop.

I left the house.

Mom called to say they were going to the beach for a few days.

We never spoke of it again.

I was a freshman in high school, my dad and I were arguing about something, he said something that set me off. I swung, and was filled with immediate regret as he caught my fist and threw me across the room.

Old man/dad strength is nothing to mess with, but something to wish to inherit when you have kids.

My step dad worked at lowes for like 10 years before he got on disability, like 5'9 250 lbs and he drank all my budweisers one night and was talking shite so I swung on him and believe me that old man strength ain't no joke!

I know a guy (older now) who beat the shite out of his dad in a Highland Park restaurant years back while the guy was in HS. His dad was a wealthy alcoholic who treated his kids like shite and was apparently insulting the son's date at a nice dinner. Kid, apparently, finally had enough.

Dad went on to become homeless, squandered a small fortune, died with basically no family. Kid became a good family man, albeit without the wealth of his youth. Amazing how many families are ruined by alcohol.

My mom did for her mother. She was sick and had Alzheimer's and was spewing shite all around the house. I absolutely could not do that at all.
