I witnessed my neighbor and his dad go at it once. Kid was about 17 or so 6' 2" 210 I would guess and in damn good shape, his dad was 5'8" maybe and around 220 I would guess. Dad kicked his arse, bad.

My dad was 6'2" around 190 or so I guess. I was 16 about a buck fifty soaking wet. Thought about trying a few times before I witnessed that, knew I would get my arse kicked after.

As we've grown older and me wiser, would never attempt out of respect now.

There are rare times when being a bastard is a good thing. I could kick my dad's arse guilt free.

The one time I went after my dad he backed the frick up and almost fell backwards. I felt so bad I just screamed " this is bullshite" about what I was mad about and left.

When I was 14 I thought I was a bad arse. We got into an argument in the back yard and I bowed up at him. He told me to go for it. I stupidly gave it my best shot. He hit me so hard in the shoulder that I must have flown back 10 feet. I started bawling because I felt so ashamed. He pulled me up and gave me a huge hug. My dad is the most gentle and compassionate dude I know but was not to be fricked with. I will never forget that day.

I never even thought about it but I saw my younger brother get charged up enough to take a shot at the old man when he was about 17 or so. Pops caught the punch with his hand like in a movie and rolled my brothers arm turned him around dropped his arse to the ground and held his face down to the floor. I don't think my dad could ever punch one of us in the face but that shite I saw that night was the coolest most intimidating thing I've ever witnessed

My Dad wasn't a pussy.

He held all the cards... Swung a daddy dick, had old man strength, and had seen and been through more in his life that whipping my arse wouldn't be a big deal.

I had a "stand up to Dad moment", but it passed quickly and we never talked about that moment afterward.

My dad was a very strict disciplinarian until I was about 16, and one time I had enough. Then I remembered he would have beat my arse.

He did deserve a good shot a couple times though.

Alcohol is such a great drug. I can think of literally zero occasions where a son would beat up his dad if alcohol wasn't involved.

My father was an all state wrestler in high school, one time when I was in high school and I was in much better shape than him, I felt froggy and we wrestled. It was a bloodbath, I got owned.

I think I could take him today, but fortunately I was raised in a classy family and it would never come to that.
