I will say that the HS football world here is on par with some lower division colleges, but damn!

There are a few private school football coaches in Mississippi that are above or close to making $100k

Something feels gross about this list.

Katy High coach makes $132,000

Clicked on the link. Kid in first slide does not even know how to correctly carry the football. His coach gets $100k+ per year for that? GTFO

I believe Josh Niblet at Hoover is the highest paid in Alabama at $124,000 and Adam Wiengarden is at $123,000 after moving from Fairhope High to Auburn High. As a side note, Fairhope hired Auburn's coach, Tim Carter, for over 100G's as well.

I went to an event at a school outside Dallas. Football stadium, outdoor practice field, full length field indoor practice field, weight room building, indoor and outdoor pools, eight lighted tennis courts, track facility and a baseball field.
I asked what Junior College it was and the locals were surprised I didn't know it was a high school.

That's $112,000 worth of ball security?

The coach of the other team is probably getting paid $110K to teach them how to faceplant.

Makes me wonder what John McKissick made at Summerville High School in SC after all these years.
Written in June of this year.
Has the most victories at any level. Going to dig around and see if I can find his salary. Curious now.
Edit: As of 2009 he was making $86,400.

I'd expect them to make much more. I was thinking it was going to be in the 225 to 250K range. I guess I'm delusional.

He isn't able to carry it correctly with his gloves tucked in his pants.

Because you're a high school football coach or for high school football? One of those two reasons is retarded.

I wonder what J.T. Curtis makes.

When when have a $60million high school stadium, you pay your coach well. LOTS of money in Collin county.
