..nah, I think you just slipped and showed your true color. You even got nervous and double posted.

4th grade to Caddo Correctional Center

I remember they told us the mentally ill inmates wear red jumpsuits.

Walking by a glass window and a dude in red suit jumps out, he looks like the rapper "Ol Dirty Bastard" and starts wigging out doing crazy moves and shite.

This girl in my class Mary fricking flipped out and started bawling.

We went on down to the Audobun Zoo and they all asked for you.

Loved going to the zoo every year for field trips

Our GT Program in 5th grade got to go to NASA for two days on a chartered bus. I remember thinking we were the shite for not having to ride the Yellow Monsters.

I thought the science museum in Shreveport was the coolest thing I'd ever seen in 4th grade. I was also a nerd though

Grew up on Long Island NY. in Fourth grade we took a train ride into NYC. Saw the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall and had lunch at Rockefeller Center.

Also my marching band performed a halftime show at West Point for the Army v. Lafayette football game in 1994. Playing the Army Alma Mater while 15,000 people sang along was a mind blowing event for my 10th grade self.

Both West Point and Annapolis are gorgeous campuses.

We took more tame field trips in school.

My favorite/most fun was probably the mission control simulation at the BR A&S museum

All field trips were awesome - nothing like getting on that bus and leaving the school.
Fun times on the yellow dog!

Schools nowadays rent those big, comfy AC buses. I dont think those are conducive to the "total field trip" experience. The kids don't talk to each other and goof off - they watch a movie...
