My God, the melt in here is hilarious. I doubt any of the people bitching in here have done any research on the guy outside of his win/loss record. Sorry but maybe there is more to it than that. I think it is a great hire. Can't wait to see the type of staff Gentry brings to NOLA.

Awful.fricking awful hire. Embarrassed to call myself a fan of an organization ran like this. AD will not hesitate to leave this joke of a coach. Demps is one of the worst gms I've ever witnessed. Sure he had a stroke of luck with Cole but everything else he has done is awful. He gave a first pick for asik the most untalented waste of height I've ever watched. Don't expect to ever watch the draft again with the pelicans name in the first round with this moron running the organization. Oh and let's go sign tyreke evans to create a logjam of three ball dominant guards instead of actually getting a player that fits. I'm sorry but you can't defend this total fricken jackass of a general manager.
