I 99% agree with this....the only downside here would be the fact that to all the ManU boys on here it would be a victory....I'd hate to give that up TBH.

Well if it helped you lift the CL and La Liga trophy come next May while they were scrambling just to qualify again I think you'd have the last laugh.

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Clinton Njie after agreeing a fee with Lyon for the forward.

Spurs are understood to have agreed to pay an initial £10million for Njie, with a further £2m due in bonuses.

Njie is now expected to travel to London to take a medical and complete his move to White Hart Lane.

City finally announced that Dzeko to Roma is official, but it's not a straight transfer.

"Edin Dzeko has joined Roma on a season-long deal with a view to a permanent transfer if certain conditions are met," is what the direct quote from City's website says.

Roma published the details of the official deal today (they must do so as a publicly traded company).

The deal is €4m fee for one year loan plus an option to buy him outright for €11m more next summer.

So, about £10.5m unless Roma decides not to buy next summer. Then he would go back to City.

In Manchester The Story is 14M and an obligation to buy.
I saw something about another 3M Bonus which would be the difference but I'm not sure if Roma has to buy him or not.

Just re-read the official notice to stockholders. (I bought a tiny bit of AS Roma stock many years ago, it's interesting insofar as the club must provide you with precise financial information.)

The price is 15m Euro total with no official add ons: €4m for the loan plus €11m "option" that is "to be determined" if he meets certain performance criteria.

So, I think you're right that there's no straight option but likely one that would kick in if Dzeko plays a certain amount of matches.

I'd guess it's just that Roma have a clause that they don't have to buy him if he misses most of the season.

Unless that happens the price is so low that I can't see it being an issue to buy him outright so mainly the €4 + €11 deal is for Roma to keep expenditure off the books until FFP is dead or else UEFA won't let us play in the CL against clubs spending €200m every summer.

"Roma, 12 agosto 2015

Roma will buy a starting quality CB but it's hard to see him coming because we already filled our non-EU spots this year unless he has a French passport? In fact, we had to loan out Sanabria to make space for Dzeko.

Rumors swirling that City is about to sign Alex Sandro.

Would like the signing but I guess that means Kolarov, everyone's favorite Serbian war hero, is gone.

Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle faces becoming a first-team outcast if he does not accept a move to Bristol City. If they make the deal, they'd scrap Bolaise's sell on fee of 15%

Ticket and shirt sales boosted after Xherdan's arrival
STOKE CITY'S record signing Xherdan Shaqiri has already captured the imagination of the Club's supporters.

Following yesterday's announcement of Shaqiri's £12,000,000 arrival, the Ticket Office has been inundated with requests to purchase season cards and tickets for upcoming matches.

Those remaining for Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur were instantly snapped up, whilst there is now only limited availability for the Potters' upcoming home matches.

Supporters looking to purchase tickets for the games with West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City and Bournemouth at the Britannia Stadium are asked to do so now to avoid disappointment.

Retail stores have also been receiving an unprecedented level of orders with the Shaqiri-printed '22' shirts already the fastest selling in the Club's history.

Spurs' Soldado to Villarreal is all but confirmed. Lamela tweeted out about him leaving and then quickly deleted the tweet.

Lyon's N'Jie is in North London to finalize his move to Spurs.

Leverkusen signed Chilean midfielder Aranguiz; the possibility of Kramer leaving looks more likely now.
