I want somewhere new or where I haven't been in awhile. Maybe Gautreau's? I even thought about giving Emerils a shot(been a decade). No August or Lilette (although I like both). Hmmmmmm
Obviously I'm not remembering something "new" while posting??

You looking to stay Uptown? We like to get to the quarter and make a day out of it for special occasions...maybe GW Fins a place similar.

To her divorce lawyer if she's smart.
If you haven't been to Gautreau's, would be a good time to try it.
Commander's is definitely celebratory and as I've said in some other posts, Tory has been posting some new dishes on his personal Facebook page.
If you do Emeril's, do the kitchen tasting if you've never done it. It's fun.

If were in New Orleans tonight I would go to Brigtsen's, but that's because it might be the only great New Orleans restaurant I've never been to. My wife and I had a trip to New Orleans planned for late August, 2005. We were going to eat at Brigtsen's, among other places. Then Katrina arrived, and that was that. We've been back to New Orleans several times since then, but never made it to Brigtsen's.

Had a wonderful meal for my wife's birthday @ Luke when we were in town a few weeks ago. Also would consider Cafe Adelaide.

How about the Chef's Tasting Menu at the Grill Room at the Windsor Court?
