to piss off all those "elites" by boarding first in front of them

What I don't I understand is people behind you who try to deplane quicker than you by walking 2 rows up only to stand in the aisle right next to you and leave the same time you do. I thought it was etiquette to deplane by row unless somebody says go ahead or they are farting around. Usually this is a certain "group" of people that I have seen do this

Actually, just about everyone I've ever met in first or business class are some of the most calmest, laid back flyers you'd ever encounter. I think it's mostly because they do it so much. I can think of 3 assholes I've ever met that go against that and they were just bad people...you could tell. Treated everyone around them like they were doing them a favor by letting them breathe the same air as them.

wtf? So I'm poor because I fly at least 4 times a year with wife and a toddler? Piss off, go do some drugs and go back to jail.

All goes back to etiquette and acting like you've been there. I laugh at them usually. More times than not I'll answer emails/texts while the shitshow of unloading is going on and get up after it slows down. Unless I have to make a connecting flight and I'm strapped for time.

This, no point in hurrying unless I have a good reason to hurry.

I think it was the attitude of you being happy that you get to piss off first/business class travelers more than anything. Which, by the way, you don't.

I love it when they say they have a plane to catch. We're in Atlanta, everyone here has a plane to catch

Its kind of ironic is what I really meant, i don't take great pleasure in it.

In fact, an even better question is - why do people rush to stand in line, when every airline either has assigned seating and boards by row, or has the SW process? No one is really rushing to be first, they're just rushing to get in line. It's cray
If you think US boarding is crazy, wait until you see Europeans.
Lufthansa was basically "plane is open" and the push was on. Like boarding a bus...an AirBus.

I never understand why first class cabin folks don't get on last, least amount of waiting.

2 reasons
1. I like to sit near the front of the plane so that I can get off faster. I can't stand waiting for everyone to fumble around getting their things and struggling to get their bag out of overhead storage.
2. I like to ensure I don't get a middle seat. I'm very broad across my shoulders and it's very uncomfortable for me to sit in the middle of people. If I'm on the isle or the window, I can lean over a touch and stretch myself out more.

Side note: SW has the best seating and boarding practice.

Maybe because of worrying about overhead carry on space

Free drinks while the plane is boarding.
