Doesn't help us this year, but he is going to be a FA at the end of the year. And who is to say what they will accept if he's not traded come the days leading up to the deadline?

Yea, that's our best bet. Gordon looks better and better the closer we get to February. What would you be willing to part with if we get rid of Gordon and get green back?

I'm sure the Bulls wanted a 1st for Deng last year too and they ended up settling for 2 2nds. We still can't afford that, but who wants a Jeff Green with a player option where it might cost $12-$15 million to resign him? That's gotta be a limited market. I'm not even sure if the Pels want that.

Don't we have a pick in 2020?

Please for the love of all that is holy. I've loved him since the OKC days. If we could somehow get this core....fapfapfap

Babbitt and Jimmer?

You'd love to trade Gordon, but I don't think the numbers will match up on that one. Boston would have to throw in Brandon Bass and I'm not sure they want to trade Green and Bass for Gordon and no draft picks.

Wouldn't mind him coming to HOU but I don't think he's a guy that puts you over the top. Nice player though.

Boom, can you tell me about this guy defensively?
I'll hang up and listen

Ignoring the cap number with the new TV deal, wouldn't it allow us to resign Green with Bird Rights and still use the MLE?

Three-way trade involving another team's first?

You haven't heard of the "Green Effect"?

On my phone now all of my stuff is on my home PC. From top of my head he's long and athletic but really inconsistent on both sides of the court.
Posted on 12/17/14 at 5:41 pm to whoknows1390
I don't think they get a first for Green, unless it's well protected and from a good team.

You have to add about $2.9 million to make it work from the Celtics side of Gordon/Green, although that trade is not happening.

Let me help Ya
Not good on defense. So let's add another dominant ball chucker on a team who is already near the top of the league on offense but terrible at defense
