Wrong, hospital had the gear CDC recommended at the time. Since then the CDC realized the PPE recommended was inadequate and had since upped the level of protection.

Surprised? Our govt is inept in every way and clueless how to deal with infections.

Shouldn't any healthcare worker who has cared for an Ebola patient be automatically quarantined for the 21 days or whatever the incubation period is to be safe?

More like Center for Disease out of Control. AMIRITE?

I think it should be more restrictive than that. I mean, I'm not a scientist, but I would think they would want to get out ahead of this. 21 day quarantine isn't so bad when you consider the alternative.

Where's all the blind faith you peoples had in our government 2 weeks ago when you were making fun of posters that had concerns over this shite? I grant you, it still isn't a major threat and probably won't be but I've said it before and I'll say it again; most of the policy makers and higher level government hacks work in government because it's a steady pay check and they can't get better jobs at a legit work place. Idiots have always infested every level of government since it's beginning. When was the last time this country successfully responded to a crisis without it becoming a complete cluster frick?

Yet free travel from Liberia to the US is still open, because Obama refuses to enact a travel ban from Western African countries.
How inept is this fricking administration? Liberals really are the worst.

If true, they are looking worse and worse. Lots of contradictions coming from the group who is running this show. They're as bad as fema.
They are 1000x worse than FEMA. This shite affects the whole country and will get worse if they don't get their heads out of their arse.
We don't have leaders anymore. Everyone is a goddamn politician now.

Is Texas Presbyterian legally responsible if their negligence exposed Ebola to other people in Dallas?
Posted on 10/16/14 at 7:57 am to member12
Probably not since the nurse called the cc'd before flying.

No because they have followed all of the CDC recommendations. CDC has dropped the ball not the hospital.

But DAT Ebola paperwork. CDC can't be expected to drop the 1500 page Ebola guidelines they're creating to go to some hospital in Dallas.

When preventing a pandemic they do, they have to expedite the education on the proper treatment and handing of these patients.

It's hard to say but
If they'd have just exterminated the individuals who first showed symptoms we'd all be talking about the fappening or some shite right now instead of an out of control possible walking dead apocalypse scenario.
You have to forget about your conscience for the betterment of civilization sometimes.

So, is this nurse also the definition of evil, like Duncan?
