Never have a pet that you feel, at any point in time, could kill you if it wanted to.

If push came to shove, and I felt that I couldn't win in a fight with my pet, I don't need that animal as my pet.

I am fascinated by people that keep venomous snakes as pets. Henry Rollins did a documentary on National Geographic. That's crazy. Here is the link to the special on YouTube. LINK
