I had my bike stolen off my back porch in a nice neighborhood about two years ago. I was pissed. I responded by moving to a better neighborhood.
I'm happy you got your bike back, Pee Wee. I think everyone here will agree you look very happy.

As a fellow cyclist, congrats on getting your bike back! You usually take it as a loss if it gets stolen. Bleh.

Good on DPD and BPD. If a bike gets stolen in Nola, that shite is gone. NOPD don't give a damn. I have kept my nicer bike inside since moving here and rarely take it out somewhere where I know it will be locked up outside. I have a beater bike I use for locking up at places. quote:

I know its extremely racist and definitely racial profiling, but I bet if cops went into the ghetto and checked every person on a bike, they'd be able to find quite a few stolen bikes. Especially when you see a grown arse man riding a kid's BMX bike. You damn well know he didn't go stand in line at Academy to buy that bike.

I know how that is. I have a 1984 centurion ironman expert (purp and gold). It's worth a lot to me because of the miles I put on it but not much to anyone else.
